Hot Rodding

My current fascination is vintage street rods. I’m building a 1/12 scale Lindberg model kit of a Fiat Topolino Drag Coupe. I got the original issue when I was about seven years old—way too young for such an advanced kit. It turned out an unpainted overglued mess. I recently found a reissue from the seventies and decided to buy it and conquer it. Now I’m rediscovering a boyhood passion for modeling. So, for painting reference I’ve looked at hundreds of hot rod images that are now etched on my brain. Thus, the sketch from memory.
